2N Telekomunikace

2N Telekomunikace is a Czech company operating in the field of ICT and security system development and production. The 2N product portfolio includes computer network-based audio and emergency communication solutions, IP access control systems, IP intercoms, elevator systems, M2M products, and telecommunication systems. All products comply with strict international standards (ISO, TÜV, UL, CE) and are compatible with third-party systems (ONVIF, Milestone, Cisco, Bosch, Avaya, Alcatel-Lucent, etc.). Research and development are managed internally, and products are manufactured and assembled in Europe. Nevertheless, they are exported to over 140 countries worldwide, with the largest markets being the USA, Italy, and Germany.

History

2N Telekomunikace was founded in 1991. The company name is derived from their first operating address in Prague, Na Nivach street, which means "meadow". By the end of the first year, they introduced their first telephone exchange Ateus 280.

In 1993, the company started exporting goods. Two years later, with the Ateus 420 exchange, the company achieved a 14% market share in the Czech Republic, surpassing Siemens and Panasonic. In 1998, the company introduced its first analog-GSM modem (gateway), which allowed customers to save on calls to mobile networks.

In 2000, the powerful gateway 2N® StarGate was introduced for connecting mobile and landline networks.

In 2005, the focus shifted to IP systems, and the 2N NetStar IP phone exchange was introduced to the market. The product portfolio expanded to include IP intercom in 2008, and IP audio and IP access control systems in 2008 and 2013 respectively.

In 2011, 2N opened a branch in the USA, and in 2014, one in Italy.

In January 2016, an IHS study showed that 2N Telekomunikace is the number one in the IP intercom market. In the same year, in June, 2N acquired a majority stake in Axis.

Sales at Walde

Since 2015, Walde has been the official representative of the Czech manufacturer in Estonia. Since then, IP intercom systems have gained increasing popularity. However, it is worth noting that many so-called IP intercoms have appeared on the market that do not use the SIP protocol. Therefore, they cannot be integrated with random IP phones, used with computer network switches, or connected to Telia's network, for example. Thus, these intercoms do not differ much from traditional intercom devices.

If you want a flexible and modern intercom system that can call anywhere your heart desires, and can also use Bluetooth or fingerprint reader for access, we recommend using the Verso series.
