Ajax Button Jeweller is a wireless button that sends an alarm or starts an automation scenario with a single press. The event type is selectable: panic button, intrusion, fire, gas alarm, leak, medical assistance, malfunction or a custom event.

A long or double press is required to prevent accidental triggering, so carrying the button in a bag or pocket — or a curious child — will not set it off. An LED confirms that the command reached the hub, and its brightness can be adjusted in the app.

The button can be carried or fixed to a wall with the holder included, under a checkout counter or beside a bed, for example. The system checks the battery state daily, and the pre-installed CR2032 battery lasts up to 5 years. Communication is encrypted and device authentication protects against spoofing.
