Ajax MotionProtect Curtain Jeweller is a wireless motion detector with a narrow, tall zone: 6° horizontally and 90° vertically. It is mounted beside a window, a balcony door or a display case and notices an intruder already at the opening — movement deeper inside the room does not raise an alarm.

Two infrared sensors together with Correlation Signal Processing detect movement at 6–15 m. Sensitivity has three levels, and temperature compensation keeps detection reliable from −10 °C to +40 °C.

False alarms caused by pets can be avoided by mounting the detector upside down. Tamper protection reports opening of the enclosure or removal from the mounting panel, and the Jeweller radio link is encrypted and frequency-hopping.
