Ajax MotionProtect Jeweller is a wireless infrared (PIR) motion detector and the core element of an Ajax security system. It detects movement at a distance of up to 12 m within an 88.5° horizontal field of view and reports alarms to the hub over Jeweller radio at a range of up to 1,700 m.
The SmartDetect algorithm separates human movement from heat and other interference, keeping false alarms to a minimum. Temperature compensation keeps detection reliable in both cold and warm rooms, while pet immunity allows animals of up to 20 kg and 50 cm in height to move freely.
The SmartBracket mounting panel makes installation tool-free, and the detector is configured and tested remotely from the Ajax app. The pre-installed CR123A battery lasts up to 5 years.
