Ajax WallSwitch is a wireless relay that switches 110–230 V AC devices with up to 13 A and a 3 kW load. It is installed behind an existing switch or socket and lets the Ajax app control lighting, heating, a pump or other electrical equipment.

The relay protects the connected device itself: overcurrent protection switches off above 11 A (with protection enabled) or above 13 A, voltage protection reacts when a 230 V supply drops below 184 V or rises above 253 V, and temperature protection switches the device off when it heats above 65 °C.

Automation scenarios link the relay to other Ajax devices: lighting can be switched on by an alarm, heating by schedule, or a device switched off when a leak detector triggers. The electric shock protection class is II, and communication with the hub is encrypted and frequency-hopping.
