The 2N Access Unit 2.0 is a smart IP access reader with the controller already built in – no separate controller or complicated wiring needed. It connects to the IP network with a single UTP cable, and the lock, exit button and door contact connect to it directly; installation takes about 4 minutes and the system can be administered remotely via a secure cloud. This version: touch keypad and card reader that also reads HID SE (Seos, iClass SE, MIFARE SE) credentials. Residents decide whether to remember a PIN or carry a card; at night the system can require both. PIN codes are also handy for one-off access, e.g. for a technician. Flush-mounted, the reader protrudes only 5 mm; surface and glass installation are also possible. The frame (nickel or black) is ordered separately.
