CSA cable clips are made of copper, dip-coated with a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) polymer. Halogen-free clips are essential with fire-resistant LSZH cables because the metal clip keeps the cable in place during a fire; the soft coated edge does not cut or damage the cable. Clip AC7 is for cable diameter 7.0–7.7 mm, colour red. The coating complies with BS 476 parts 5, 6 and 7 and the UL94 vertical burn test.
