Ajax 6V PSU (type A) is an Ajax alternative power supply unit fitted inside the hub or range extender enclosure in place of the standard 110/230 V unit. Compatible with: Hub (4G), Hub 2 (2G/4G), Hub 2 Plus, ReX 2.

It lets the hub run from an external battery without mains for up to 30 months – in a summer house closed for the winter, on a construction site or in an empty building. It switches on at 4.2 V and off at 3–3.4 V depending on the load. It has a standard socket (6.5 × 2 mm) and a 5.5 × 2.1 mm plug for the connection. A PH1 screwdriver is all that is needed to install it.
