Ajax EN54 Battery (72h) white

The Ajax EN54 battery (72 h) is the backup battery of an EN 54 compliant fire alarm panel. The standard requires a fire system to keep working after a power cut — this battery keeps the panel running for up to 72 hours.

The battery consists of eight 18650 lithium-ion cells, with a nominal voltage of 7.4 V and a capacity of 10 Ah; the maximum load current is 3.2 A. The panel monitors the battery continuously and reports in the app when the voltage falls to the end-of-life level (6 V).

The actual running time depends on which communication channels the panel uses: with LTE only the average consumption is about 50 mAh, with Wi-Fi 70 mAh and with Ethernet 120 mAh; with Ethernet and cellular both on standby, about 102 mAh.
