Ajax EN54 Fire Hub is the control and indicating equipment (CIE) of a wireless fire safety system, compliant with EN 54. One hub supports up to 200 devices — EN54-range smoke, heat and CO detectors, sounders, visual alarm devices and manual call points — divided into up to 40 fire zones, where each zone can cover several rooms.

The system supports up to 200 users, 80 rooms and 25 security groups, plus up to 64 automation scenarios: by alarm, by schedule, by arming or by air readings (temperature, humidity, CO₂). The event log holds 6,000 records that can also be viewed on the hub's display.

Devices communicate over Jeweller radio at a range of up to 1,800 m, while photo verification and firmware updates travel over the Wings protocol. All communication is encrypted and uses frequency hopping, which protects against interception and jamming.
