Ajax EN54 FireProtect (Heat) Jeweller is a wireless heat detector for a professional fire safety system. It responds to a rise in temperature and suits places where a smoke detector would cause false alarms: kitchens, boiler rooms, car parks, workshops and dusty production areas.

The detector belongs to the EN 54 compliant Ajax Fire range controlled by the EN54 Fire Hub. A three-colour LED shows its state — alarm, test or fault — and the tamper button reports removal from the mounting panel.

The SmartBracket mounting panel and its lock secure the detector to the ceiling. The two pre-installed CR123A batteries last up to 6 years and can be replaced without tools; reverse polarity protection prevents damage if they are inserted the wrong way. The Jeweller radio link reaches up to 1,700 m and is encrypted and frequency-hopping.
