Ajax EN54 FireProtect (Smoke) Jeweller is a wireless smoke detector for a professional fire safety system. It belongs to the EN 54 compliant Ajax Fire range controlled by the EN54 Fire Hub and suits office and commercial buildings as well as apartment blocks.

Smoke is detected by a dual-spectrum optical sensor that judges the size of particles in the air and tells smoke from water vapour, which avoids false alarms next to a bathroom or a kitchen. A patented smoke chamber protects the sensor from dust, dirt and insects, extending the detector's working life.

A three-colour LED (red, yellow, green) shows the state of the detector: alarm, test or fault. The SmartBracket mounting panel and its lock secure the detector to the ceiling, and the tamper button reports removal. The two pre-installed CR123A batteries last up to 6 years and can be replaced without tools. The Jeweller radio link reaches up to 1,700 m and is encrypted.
