Ajax EN54 FireProtect (smoke/sounder) black

Ajax EN54 FireProtect (Smoke/Sounder) Jeweller combines a smoke detector with a sounder: the detector that finds the fire sounds the alarm itself, without waiting for a command from the control panel. The alarm is therefore heard exactly in the room where the smoke appeared.

Smoke is detected by a dual-spectrum optical sensor that judges the size of particles in the air and tells smoke from water vapour, so no false alarms occur near a bathroom or a kitchen. A patented smoke chamber protects the sensor from dust, dirt and insects.

The device belongs to the EN 54 compliant Ajax Fire range controlled by the EN54 Fire Hub, and the sound of all devices connected to the same control and indicating equipment is synchronised automatically. A three-colour LED shows the state, the SmartBracket mount with a lock holds the detector on the ceiling, and the tamper button reports removal. The pre-installed batteries last for years and can be replaced without tools.
