Ajax EN54 FireProtect (VAD) Jeweller is a wireless visual alarm device. The bright LED frame around the device flashes at 0.5 Hz during an alarm and gives warning where a sound signal may go unnoticed: in noisy production areas, for people with hearing loss, or in rooms where headphones are worn.

The device belongs to the EN 54 compliant Ajax Fire range controlled by the EN54 Fire Hub. The visibility of the light signal can be checked in a separate test mode without raising an alarm in the whole building.

The SmartBracket mounting panel with a lock holds the device in place and the tamper button reports removal. The four pre-installed CR123A batteries last up to 5 years and can be replaced without tools. The Jeweller radio link reaches up to 1,700 m and is encrypted and frequency-hopping.
