Ajax EN54 I/O Module (2X2) Jeweller connects wired devices to the EN 54 compliant Ajax Fire system. The module has two inputs and two relay outputs: the inputs take existing wired detectors or manual call points, and the outputs control external equipment.

The inputs support NO, NC, EOL, 2EOL and 3EOL connection types, and resistors of 0.47, 1.2, 2.7 and 6.2 kΩ are included. The wired line can run up to 100 m with a fire-resistant 2 × 1.5 mm² cable, and the cable cross-section may be 0.4–2.5 mm².

The relay outputs handle 10–250 V AC up to 10 A and 10–30 V DC up to 5 A (resistive load), so they can drive smoke vents, door closers, ventilation or a public address system. The installer sets the event type for each input in the Ajax app, which also determines the wording of the notification.
