Ajax FireProtect 2 RB (CO) is a wireless carbon monoxide detector. Carbon monoxide (CO) is odourless and invisible and comes from incomplete combustion — a stove, a fireplace, a gas boiler or a car in the garage. The detector tracks the accumulated dose of CO and alarms before the concentration becomes dangerous.

The alarm follows the standard limits: the higher the concentration, the faster the response — within 90 minutes at 50 ppm and within 40 minutes at 100 ppm.

The built-in 85 dB sounder signals the alarm immediately, and interconnected detectors pass the warning to other rooms. The detector can be tested with the front panel button, an LED shows power and state, and the tamper reports removal. The replaceable batteries last up to 7 years and the detector's service life is 10 years.
