Ajax FireProtect 2 RB (Heat/CO) is a wireless detector with two sensors: temperature and carbon monoxide (CO). This model has no smoke sensor, which suits rooms where smoke is part of the work — kitchens, boiler rooms, garages, workshops and car parks.

The temperature sensor raises an alarm when the room exceeds 64 °C or when the temperature rises by more than 10 °C in a minute. The CO sensor tracks the accumulated dose of carbon monoxide and alarms before the concentration becomes dangerous: within 90 minutes at 50 ppm and within 40 minutes at 100 ppm.

The built-in 85 dB sounder signals the alarm immediately, and interconnected detectors pass the warning to other rooms. The detector can be tested with the front panel button, an LED shows power and state, and the tamper reports removal. The replaceable batteries last up to 7 years and the detector's service life is 10 years.
