Ajax FireProtect 2 SB (Heat/Smoke/CO) (8EU) white

Ajax FireProtect 2 SB (Heat/Smoke/CO) Jeweller is an Ajax wireless smoke, heat and CO detector. It uses the following sensors: a dual-spectrum optical smoke sensor that judges the size of airborne particles and ignores water vapour; a patented smoke chamber protects it from dust, dirt and insects; a temperature sensor (class A1R, EN 54-5) that alarms above 64 °C or when the temperature rises by more than 10 °C a minute; a chemical carbon monoxide (CO) sensor that tracks the accumulated dose: above 50 ppm it alarms within 90 minutes, above 100 ppm within 40 minutes and above 300 ppm within 3 minutes.

The SB version has two built-in lithium batteries that last the detector's whole 10-year service life – no battery replacement is needed. The built-in sounder (85 dB at 3 m) signals the alarm immediately, and interconnected detectors raise the alarm in other rooms too. The front button tests the detector and silences the alarm, and an LED shows power and faults. The tamper switch reports removal; communication with the hub is over Jeweller radio at up to 1,700 m.
