Ajax GlandBox is a mounting plate that lets an Ajax control panel be installed where the wiring does not come out of the wall. The housing has 16 positions for cable glands — four on each side — with a gland diameter of up to 20 mm (glands are not included).

Installation is made easier by ready recesses for drilling, cable fasteners for ties, a built-in bubble level and a marking for the centre of the panel. The "UP" key shows the correct orientation, so the device ends up level without separate measuring.

Tamper protection still works with the plate: its perforated part keeps the tamper button pressed, so removing the panel raises an alarm immediately. The material meets the UL 94 V-0 flammability rating.
