Ajax GlassProtect black EU

Ajax GlassProtect Jeweller is a wireless glass break detector that listens to windows and glass doors with an electret microphone. It detects breaking glass at a distance of up to 9 m within a 180-degree sector, so one device can guard several windows.

To avoid false alarms, the detector uses the two-stage DualTone algorithm: an alarm is raised only when the microphone hears the low sound of the glass flexing followed by the high sound of it breaking. A barking dog, traffic noise or clattering dishes therefore do not trigger it. Sensitivity can be set at three levels and tested from the Ajax app.

A wired detector with a normally closed (NC) contact can be connected to the terminals. The Jeweller radio link reaches up to 1,000 m, is encrypted and frequency-hopping, and tamper protection reports any attempt to open or remove the enclosure.
