Ajax HomeSiren Jeweller is a wireless indoor siren that signals an intrusion at 80–100 dB measured at one metre. Volume, alarm duration (from 3 seconds to 3 minutes) and indication are all adjustable from the Ajax app.
The siren does more than sound alarms: the built-in LED shows the security mode, entry and exit delays and the after-alarm state. The chime function gives an audible signal when an opening detector is triggered while the system is disarmed. An external LED indicator can be connected in parallel if needed.
It communicates with a hub or range extender over Jeweller radio at a range of up to 2,000 m, encrypted and frequency-hopping. The pre-installed batteries last up to 5 years, and tamper protection reports any attempt to open or remove the device.
