Ajax Hub 2 is a security system control panel that manages up to 100 wireless Ajax devices and delivers alarms both to the user's phone and to a monitoring station. The hub supports photo verification: MotionCam detectors send a series of photos on alarm, so the cause of the event is visible immediately.

The system can be divided into up to 9 security groups and 50 rooms and can have up to 50 users. Up to 32 automation scenarios link detectors and relays together — switching on lighting on alarm or cutting off the water supply, for example.

Communication runs in parallel over Ethernet and two SIM cards (2G/3G/4G), and the hub switches between the channels automatically. The internal lithium battery keeps the system running during a power cut. The hub talks to Ajax devices over Jeweller radio at a range of up to 2,000 m and delivers photos over the Wings protocol; all communication is encrypted and frequency-hopping.
