Ajax Hub (2G) Jeweller is the control panel of an Ajax security system: it links wireless detectors, sirens and automation devices and passes alarms to users and the monitoring station. One hub takes up to 100 devices (including up to 10 sirens and 1 range extender), 50 users, 9 security groups and 50 rooms.

It communicates over two channels – Ethernet and a 2G SIM card – that work in parallel and switch over instantly. Detectors talk to the hub over encrypted Jeweller radio at up to 2,000 m. The hub sends push notifications, SMS and calls and supports the SIA DC-09 and Contact ID monitoring protocols. The built-in battery gives up to 15 hours of operation during a power cut. Hub (2G) does not support MotionCam photo detectors or temperature, humidity and CO₂ scenarios.
