Ajax ManualCallPoint Jeweller is a wireless manual call point that lets a person raise a fire alarm. Pressing the central frangible element pushes the button inwards and triggers the alarm — the element is resettable, so no glass needs replacing and the call point can simply be reset after a test.

A transparent lid prevents accidental pressing: the lid must be lifted first. An LED indicator shows whether it is a fire alarm or a fault, and tamper protection reports removal of the enclosure.

The operating mode can be chosen: fire alarm, auxiliary alarm, panic button, gas leak, water leak, malfunction alert or an automation scenario trigger. A press also switches on the sounders of the system's fire detectors, and a critical alert can reach users even when the phone sound is muted. Transmission of the alarm to the monitoring station can be disabled if needed.
