Ajax ReX 2 (8EU) white

Ajax ReX 2 Jeweller extends the radio coverage of a security system where the hub alone does not reach the whole site — an office building, a warehouse complex, a large estate or a production facility. Up to 5 range extenders can be added to one system, and up to 199 devices can be connected through ReX 2, depending on the hub model.

Unlike an ordinary range extender, ReX 2 also relays photo verification: photos from MotionCam detectors reach the hub over the Wings protocol in about 18 seconds, while alarms take 0.3 seconds. It can communicate with the hub over radio at a range of up to 1,700 m or over Ethernet.

All communication is encrypted and uses frequency hopping, device authentication protects against spoofing, and tamper protection reports opening of the enclosure. An internal backup battery keeps the system running during a power cut.
