Ajax Transmitter Jeweller is a small integration module that brings one existing wired detector into an Ajax system. It has two pairs of terminals — one for the detector's alarm signal and one for its tamper — and supplies 3.3 V to the connected device.

Detectors with NO or NC contacts can be connected, and the cable may run up to 130 m (twisted pair). The operating mode can be pulse or bistable, and the detector's role can be either to report alarms or to switch security modes.

The installer picks the event type from 14 options — intrusion, fire, panic button, gas alarm, malfunction and others — which determines the wording of the notification in the app. Communication with the hub is encrypted and frequency-hopping, and tamper protection reports opening of the enclosure.
