Ajax vhfBridge Jeweller gives an Ajax hub an additional channel to the monitoring station over VHF radio. It suits areas where the internet connection is unstable and can be the primary or a backup channel: alarms and events travel by VHF radio over tens of kilometres (depending on the transmitter and terrain).

The module has 8 outputs for connecting any VHF transmitter with relay inputs; the event for each output is chosen in the Ajax app. The enclosure holds a 12 V 4 or 7 Ah backup battery (not included) that also feeds the transmitter with up to 2 A – during a power cut the system runs for up to 75 hours. The module talks to the hub over Jeweller radio at up to 1,800 m; two tamper switches report opening of the lid and removal.
