Alarmtech MC 247 has two independent NC reed switches in one contact. One output can go to the intruder alarm and the other to access control or another system, so a single contact monitors the door for both.

Contact and magnet are threaded aluminium-alloy screws for a 9–10 mm hole in wood or plastic; the contact is epoxy sealed and IP67. Approved to EN 50131-2-6 Grade 2. Steel frames are handled with Alarmtech's strong-magnet adapters.
