The ATLO ML-361 is a surface-mounted single electromagnetic lock for doors and gates. It works fail-safe – it is open when there is no power. Forcing a locked door requires more than 361 kg. The lock consists of two parts: the electromagnet (usually fixed to the frame) and the armature plate (usually fixed to the door); rubber washers between the plate and the door keep the parts aligned when the door is closed. Having no wearing mechanical parts makes it reliable. The device is for indoor use; an LED shows the lock status.
