ATTE Ethernet surge protector | black | RJ45, 10/100/1000 Mb/s, PoE

The IPP-1-20-HS protects devices connected to 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet, including PoE-powered ones, against surges – e.g. IP CCTV, wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi equipment. It works without earthing by limiting surges between the wires; connecting the earth lead diverts the charge to ground for more effective protection. It lowers the voltage to a safe level, needs no power and does not disturb data transmission.
