The Bisson condensation trap is used where constant temperature changes cause condensation in the system – typically in a chill store or a room open to the outside air. The collected water can be checked and drained regularly by simply opening the valve. The fitting is joined with ABS pipe cement; it must not be painted or installed in direct sunlight, the pipe must be clean and dust-free, and only soapy water may be used for cleaning.
