The Bisson jointing socket connects two pieces of aspirating pipe; designed for aspirating smoke detection only. The fitting is joined with ABS pipe cement; it must not be painted or installed in direct sunlight, the pipe must be clean and dust-free, and only soapy water may be used for cleaning.
