The SR408A is a red Kod Elektronik CodeSec fire sounder that gives an audible warning in a room in the event of fire or another emergency. The sounder mounts on the same base as the detectors (DD-T or the deep SVU-T base) with a bayonet joint and can be used in conventional and addressable systems, where it is powered over a separate cable. Operating voltage 16–30 V DC, alarm current below 30 mA. The sound level at 1 m is 95 dB(A) according to CodeSec's website (92 dB according to the user manual). The sounder complies with EN 54-3.
