The CQR PASP1 is a simple and discreet panic button for raising the alarm in intruder and hold-up systems. The alarm is sent when the button is pushed fully in; the button latches and the window below it turns from yellow to red until the button is reset with the key (insert the key and turn clockwise). The switch is a reed switch, normally closed by default (opens on activation); moving the magnet to the adjacent hole changes it to normally open. The pressing force can be adjusted with screws. The panic button has 5 screw terminals and no tamper switch – removing the cover gives a hold-up signal. Cable can enter from the rear or through the cut-out at the bottom of the cover. The panic button suits EN 50131-1 Grade 1, environmental class II systems; spare keys are available.
