The converter provides a galvanically isolated 12 V supply for one special detector. The input voltage is taken from the fire alarm control panel or an external power supply. The module can be installed in housings 120240, 788600, 788601 and 788603.10. Note the primary current consumption in case of mains failure. The converter can also serve as a voltage interface, e.g. for operating transponders on an 8010 Series 3 extinguishing control panel configured for 12 V DC, and for galvanic separation of the esserbus supply in explosion-hazard zones.
