Where a high electromagnetic interference (EMI) load is expected in a fire alarm system (e.g. from fluorescent lamps or electrical control devices), it is recommended to fit the EMC shield in the standard detector base 805590 of IQ8Quad and ES Detect detectors. The module may only be used with the standard base without relay board and only with detectors without integrated alarm devices (not with 802382…802386 incl. adapted variants).
