Black version of the IQ8Quad optical smoke detector 802371. The detector detects fire early using the light-scatter principle and responds well to slow, smouldering fires. Decentralised intelligence: automatic self-test, CPU failure mode, alarm and operating data memory, alarm indicator and soft addressing. The detector fits an IQ8Quad base (805590, or 805591 with relay contact), ordered separately; a remote indicator can be connected.
