Esser RS-232/RS-485 interface converter | DIN rail | 12–24 V DC, 1 kV isolation

The Esser 764852 is a DIN-rail interface converter that converts serial interface signals between RS-232 and RS-485 in both directions. The RS-485 side is 2- and 4-wire compatible and works in automatic mode – no re-configuration of transmission parameters is required. Electrical isolation is at least 1 kV. It can also be used as a non-intelligent converter between RS-485 field buses (e.g. Profibus, CS31) and RS-232. Supply 12–24 V DC, current consumption approx. 85 mA; a power supply unit is included.
