The INIM IPS24060G is a CPU-managed switching power supply and battery charger for installation inside fire and intruder control panels and power stations. It delivers a stabilised 27.6 V, up to 2.1 A in total: 1.5 A for external loads and 0.6 A for battery charging. Outputs are protected against overload, short circuit and battery reverse polarity. The independent charger adapts the charging voltage to the battery temperature with the ProbeTH thermal probe (accessory; mandatory with fire panels), and the battery is disconnected at 19 V to prevent deep discharge. The module also monitors earth faults and the temperature of the switching stage; LEDs show its status and two open-collector outputs signal mains and power supply faults. It takes 2 × 12 V 7 Ah VRLA batteries (YUASA NP12-FR or equivalent with UL94-V2 or better case). The module must be installed in a fireproof enclosure such as the metal housing of a control panel. Its ratings (27.6 V, 2.1 A total, 2 × 12 V 7 Ah batteries) match the power supply data of the INIM SmartLine020 control panel.
