KAC CWSS-RR-S3 is a conventional ENscape sounder beacon with a red body, clear lens and red LED flash, on a low profile base. It is approved both as an audible device (EN 54-3) and as a visual alarm device (EN 54-23, O category – open category, with coverage stated by the manufacturer). The sounder offers 32 tones (incl. a bell tone), two volume settings (high/medium), two-stage operation for phased evacuation and synchronised sound; the beacon flashes at 0.5 Hz and is synchronised. A soft start reduces power surges at system start-up. The low profile base is for indoor use (IP21C).
