HM-PTSE-I-AP is an optical-heat multisensor detector from the Morley HM series. Heat sensing assists the optical smoke sensor, which gives better immunity to false alarms and a faster response to a wide range of developing fires. Both sensors work as one unit under software control; the panel can change the sensitivity of each, and during the day, when normal activity may cause false alarms, the detector can be set to work as a heat detector only. The built-in isolator cuts off only the faulty loop section in case of a short circuit; it fits the MI/B501AP/IV base.
