WSS-PR-I05 is a Morley addressable wall sounder strobe powered from the fire alarm loop. The piezo sounder and LED strobe draw little current, so more devices fit on a loop. The 32 tones and three volume levels can be set on the device or from the panel. The red-lens strobe is not approved to EN 54-23 as a visual alarm device and must not be used as the primary visual warning of fire – the clear-lens WSS-PC-I05 is meant for that. The device twists onto the MI/B501AP/IV base; a BRR or WRR base raises the protection rating.
