Optex CDX-NAM is an indoor PIR motion detector whose narrow 24 × 2 m coverage is made for corridors. The coverage has 82 dense zones and an alarm is raised only when 4 or more zones are crossed, which tells people from small animals. Masking is detected with active infrared (AIR) technology that separates real masking from changes caused by dust, temperature and direct light. Double conductive shielding blocks visible light and RFI. Optex has discontinued the CDX series; the FlipX series replaces it.
