Optex HX-80NAM is an outdoor PIR motion detector mounted at 2.5–3 m with a narrow volumetric coverage of up to 24 m. It suits alleyways, areas along fences and the immediate approach to a building, and tells people from small to medium-sized animals. The bracket rotates 180° and tilts to follow the slope of the ground; built-in flaps and plates mask the longer or shorter range. Active infrared anti-masking reports when the detector is covered or sprayed. HX-80NAM is the hardwired anti-masking model of the HX-80 series.
