Optex VXI-AM is an outdoor motion detector of the VX Infinity series that protects the approach to a building up to 12 m. It is mounted at 0.8–1.2 m and has two PIRs forming a double-layered detection area – it only triggers when both layers are activated. Digital analysis reduces false alarms, double conductive shielding reduces the impact of sunlight and the housing is weather resistant (IP55). VXI-AM is the hardwired model with active infrared anti-masking; end-of-line resistors are optional.
