The POE-48/NX is a PoE power adapter for devices powered over the network cable: one twisted-pair cable carries both data and supply voltage. It has two RJ-45 sockets (data in and PoE out), a 48 V DC output and 24 W of power, with short-circuit and overload protection. Data runs on pins 1-2 and 3-6, power on 4-5 (+) and 7-8 (–) (passive PoE, 100 Mb/s). For continuous operation the load should not exceed 80 % of the maximum current.
