Pulsar PSG2 is a compact buffer power supply compliant with EN 50131-6 (Grade 1 and 2) and EN 60839-11-2. It is installed in an enclosure or on a DIN rail and supplies uninterrupted 13.8 V or 27.6 V DC, charging a separately installed battery.

The EPS (mains failure) and APS (battery failure) relay outputs report faults to the alarm panel. The unit tests the battery dynamically, monitors battery circuit continuity and voltage and protects the battery against deep discharge.
