Satel AQUA Ring 360° ceiling motion detector | white | Grade 2

AQUA Ring is a digital passive infrared motion detector for ceiling mounting. It suits places where wall mounting is difficult or impossible – for example rooms with glass walls or shops with showcases – and large rooms as well, since one detector covers a wide area: about 36 m² at 2.4 m height and about 80 m² at 3.7 m. The quad element PIR sensor and the digital motion detection algorithm analyse the signal on two tracks, and temperature compensation keeps the sensitivity steady and reduces false alarms. Sensitivity is selectable in three steps, the LED indicator can be disabled and the detector has built-in EOL resistors. A tamper switch reports opening of the enclosure. The detector meets the EN 50131 Grade 2 requirements. While the alarm system is disarmed, the detector can also serve building automation, for example switching on lights or opening and closing doors.
