The PS62 is Southwest Microwave's high-reliability power supply with universal AC input (85–264 V AC) and overload, overvoltage and short-circuit protection. The 30 W version provides 13.6 V DC at up to 2.5 A; full power is available up to +60 °C, from there to +70 °C the output derates linearly by 25 %. It can be installed indoors or outdoors in a weatherproof enclosure; it mounts on a TS35/7.5 or TS35/15 DIN rail and the input and output wiring connects to a terminal strip. Cooling is by convection with 25 mm of free space on all sides. Southwest Microwave offers the PS62 as the 12 V supply for its perimeter devices, such as INTREPID MicroPoint II processors, system controllers and I/O modules.
