STI ReSet call point | red | conventional fire model, 470/680 Ω resistors | surface mount

ReSet is an STI call point that mimics the feel of breaking glass but uses a resettable plastic operating element instead of glass. On activation an indicator drops into view at the top of the window; the call point is reset with a key (RP-K) and is ready for use again straight away. No glass splinters are produced, so it suits food processing, leisure centres and places with many false activations such as schools and shopping centres. Every activation is also a complete functional test. Series 01 is the conventional fire model with two internal resistors (470 and 680 Ω) accessible at the installer terminals; it interfaces with most conventional fire alarm panels. For surface mounting a back box with 20 mm conduit entries is supplied; the terminals take 0.5–2.5 mm² wire. Rating 3 A at 12–24 V DC, operating temperature -20 … +65 °C, IP2X. An integral cover STI-CI can be fitted to prevent accidental activation.
